Vietnamese students in the UK city of Leeds organised a "Vietnamese day" on Monday to introduce their international peers to Vietnam's landscape and people.

A host of activities, including photo exhibition, film screening, Vietnamese culinary show, dancing performance and display of fine art handicrafts took place during the event.

Pham Phu Binh, Chairman of the Vietnamese Students' Association in Leeds, said the "Vietnamese day" was warmly responded to by Vietnamese students who wanted to do their best to help international students learn about Vietnam.
