Mr. Vo Hong Phuc was born in Vinh city, Nghe An province, Vietnam in 1945. He is married with two children and lives in Hanoi. Education He graduated from the Mineral Faculty of Ha Noi Polytechnic University in 1968. Career Mr. Vo Hong Phuc joined the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) in 1969. He held several assignments in the Department of Industry (MPI) before was promoted to Director General in 1992. In 12/1992 he was appointed Vice Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and shortly afterwards became a member of the Central Committee of Vietnamese Communist Party. Since 2002 he has been the Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. He has been a member of the Parliament since 2002 |
